CSM Pumps Services Ltd. is a well-established pump parts, service and sales company with established customers throughout Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Our mission is to exceed customer expectations through exceptional product support, technical information, quality parts, and fabrication of Turnkey Pump Packages. We have a full time opening in our Nisku Facility for a **_Manual Machinist_**.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Machining parts and components for in house pump & compressor repairs.
- Plan, prioritize and organize assigned tasks.
- Set up and operate lathes or machine tools to perform machining functions, such as turning, boring, facing and threading parts.
- Interpret blueprints drawings for specifications, set up and operating requirements.
- Submit documentation for CSM QC program and documentation for verification of the quality and accuracy of all parts produced.
- Maintain raw material identification for traceability of parts and components built.
- Submit Safety paperwork for each task performed and work with Onsite Safety Committee to increase CSM’s overall safety performance.
- Clean machine, tooling, and parts, and may perform minor machine maintenance.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of CSM.
- Periodic welding task may be required as part of manufacturing procedures.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Journeyman Trade certification definite benefit.
- 5 years’ experience using Manual Mills and Manual Lathes required.
- Overhead Crane and Forklift Certificates are preferred.

**HSE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Participate in near miss / incident reporting
- Adhere to all CSM Pump Services safety policies and procedures
- Able to work in shop environment (walking, standing), able to lift 35lb unassisted

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$43.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
