Responsibilities include:

- Preparing estimates/take-offs and proposals for assigned tenders
- Reviewing tender documents, plans, specs and project sites to clearly understand the scope of work to be priced
- Communicating with engineers, owners and consultants to clarify scope of work, materials and schedule requirements via RFI or addenda
- Soliciting vendors and subcontractors for estimates for sub-contracted work
- Establish and maintain working relationships with subcontractors, construction personnel, supervisors, and the estimating team
- Maintaining a directory of suppliers and contractors
- Submitting tenders on time prior to deadlines
- Organizing all bid information for future reference
- Effective hand over of projects to field operation team(s)
- Attend site meeting/visits when required
- Work with and support site supervisors
- Supporting change order pricing as required
- Generating monthly project progress certificates in excel format, obtaining approvals with consultants and hand over to Accounting Department

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- ICI Construction experience
- Proficient in scheduling and capable of producing tender schedules;
- Conceptual estimator capable of deriving cost calculations for all aspects of a tender;
- Sound knowledge of construction industry specific to Interiors, Civil, Structural
- Experience with contract administration
- Sound knowledge of Project Estimating principles and practices specific to planning, execution, pricing and vendor/subcontractor
- College Diploma or University Degree is required
- PQS certification or working towards certification would be advantageous
- Proficient with computer programs such Bluebeam, AutoCad, MS Ooffice, MS Project.

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
