Electrical Apprentice

**George A. Wright & Son** has been building a tradition of quality and customer service in the food, pharmaceutical and consumer goods manufacturing industries since 1894. We design, manufacture, and install all kinds of material handling equipment in manufacturing facilities throughout the GTA and South-Central Ontario.

We are looking to add a highly skilled Journeymen Electrician (309A) to our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working as part of a team of committed professionals
- Installing rigid conduit, motor controls and new installations in an industrial environment
- Working in our clients' manufacturing sites installing, removing, and servicing a variety of conveying and automation equipment
- Interpreting blueprints
- Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to at all times
- Looking for ways to complete the jobs in a more efficient manner
- Providing high quality service to internal and external customers
- At all times adhering to company health and safety, human resources, and accounting policies, procedures and programs.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Must have a commitment to safety
- Must be a 3rd level Electrical Apprentice or above
- 1-3 years of electrical experience in related industries
- Completion of Pre-Apprenticeship program preferred
- Solid knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code
- Experience working both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal are required
- Must have own hand tools
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites around GTA

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
