**Votre milieu de travail chez EXP**

Sous la responsabilité du directeur principal, du directeur technique en géotechnique, du responsable en sols, matériaux et environnement puis du chargé de projet, le ou la technicien(ne) collabore et participe à des mandats en géotechnique. Vous travaillerez depuis notre bureau de Gatineau.

**Ce que vous réservent vos journées de travail chez EXP**
- Surveillance lors des forages et des tranchées lors d’études géotechniques et/ou de caractérisations environnementales avec échantillonnage des matériaux incluant la collecte de données associée à ces prélèvements;
- Mesurer la compacité des sols (indices N de l’essai SPT- sols pulvérulents et cohérents);
- Mesurer la résistance au cisaillement non drainé (sols cohérents);
- Décrire la nature des matériaux rencontrés et préparer des rapports de forage et de chantier;
- Installer des puits d’observation et de piézomètres pour suivi environnemental;
- Effectuer la surveillance lors des travaux de réhabilitation environnementale de sites contaminés et compiler le volume des matériaux;
- Relever les coordonnées géographiques et déterminer les élévations géodésiques des sites des forages à l’aide d’un appareil de géolocalisation;
- Vérifier la position d’obstacles souterrains en tenant compte des données fournies par Infor-Excavation et par la Municipalité;
- Superviser sur le site les sous-traitants (ex : forages, signalisation routière, détection d’obstacles souterrains);
- Toutes autres tâches liées à l'emploi.

**Ce qui fait de vous un atout pour EXP**
- Vous détenez un DEC ou AEC en génie civil, génie minier, géologie ou environnement;
- Vous avez une expérience mínimale de 5 ans reliée aux domaines indiqués;
- Vous avez votre carte ASP construction;
- Vous avez un moyen de transport fiable pour vous déplacer en chantiers;
- Vous êtes disponible pour des campagnes de reconnaissance de plus d’une semaine (mandats occasionnels);
- Vous avez des connaissances des logiciels GEOTEC de Sobek technologies inc, et Autocad (Atout);
- Vous avez des connaissances des essais in situ (essais de perméabilité, essais Packer, piézocône, etc.);
- Vous êtes disposé à suivre des sessions de formation technique;
- Vous avez une maîtrise du français à l’oral et à l’écrit et de l’anglais à l’oral.
