**Job Summary**
**Duties**:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation.
- Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials, considering seasonal availability of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food handling techniques and kitchen procedures.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality are crucial for success in this role.
