Volunteer - Musician

We are looking for passionate and talented musicians to join our team as Volunteer Musicians for our Sunday Church services. As a vital part of our worship experience, you will contribute to creating an uplifting and spiritually enriching atmosphere through your musical abilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Music Director and Worship Team to plan and perform music for our Sunday Church services, including rehearsals and live performances.
- Play an instrument or sing during worship, following the direction of the worship leader and contributing to the overall sound and atmosphere.
- Prepare and practice assigned songs and musical arrangements prior to each service.
- Maintain a strong sense of musical timing, dynamics, and expression during performances.
- Support and encourage congregational participation in singing and worship by providing musical accompaniment and leadership.
- Work in harmony with other musicians, vocalists, and technical teams to ensure a seamless and cohesive worship experience.
- Continuously develop your musical skills and contribute creative ideas to enhance the quality of the worship music program.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in playing a musical instrument (such as piano, guitar, drums, violin, etc.) or strong vocal abilities.
- Experience performing live music, preferably in a worship or church setting.
- Ability to read sheet music, chord charts, and follow musical arrangements.
- Strong sense of musicality, including a good ear for pitch, rhythm, and dynamics.
- Flexibility to adapt to different musical styles and genres as per the worship program.
- Commitment to regular attendance for rehearsals and Sunday services.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for worship and a desire to contribute to a meaningful spiritual experience for the congregation.
