*Overview*

Curious Noses is female-owned, small business. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care for dogs while ensuring their safety and well-being during walks. We provide a private walking service; only walking one household at a time. This position is ideal for individuals who love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors. As a Dog Walker, you will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with both the dogs and their owners, ensuring a positive experience for all.

*Duties*
- Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they receive adequate mental stimulation while prioritizing their needs, safety, and autonomy.
- Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, approachable, and responsive to client inquiries.
- Clean up after dogs during walks to maintain a clean environment.
- Keep track of time spent on walk and any notable behaviours to include in a daily visit report.
- Report any health or behavioural issues observed during walks to the pet owner promptly.
- An expectation to walk through all kinds of weather, whenever it is safe for humans and animals to be outside.

*Experience*
- Previous experience in dog walking or pet care is not required; a genuine love for animals is essential.
- The use of positive reinforcement, and force free handling methods is required at all times.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with pet owners.
- Good level of physical fitness to handle the demands of walking for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation is necessary for traveling between clients' homes.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.50-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
