Dishwasher/server

**Qualifications**:
1. Familiar with HACCP, WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety (trained on site)

2. Ensure sanitation regulations pertaining to food preparation and handling are followed

3. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.

4. Be able to communicate effectively with residents and staff.

5. Be able to follow through on a job from start to finish, troubleshoot, prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team.

6. Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in a retirement residence or long term care setting. (preferred, not required)

7. Willingness to keep up-to-date on various policies that affect your duties.

8. Clear Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Persons Sector Screen (dated within 10 months prior to employment start date).

9. Provide clear TB skin test results (dated within 14 days prior to start of employment).

10. Must complete ORCA training annually.

**General Duties**:
1. Departmental and station cleaning as required

2. Take orders and serve meals to residents

3. Setting and clearing tables, using proper techniques.

4. Assist with the monitoring of resident presence and eating habits

5. Operate dishwasher and complete manual ware washing as required

6. Adhere to established policies and procedures and participate in fire and safety programs

7. Follow instructions and guidelines put in place by management.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parry Sound, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
