**CARPET CLEANING - DUCT CLEANING TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION**

Executive Steam is proud to be a locally owned small business, serving London and surrounding area. Our technicians are hard-working, meticulous, customer-service focused, responsible and trustworthy. We offer five-star residential and commercial carpet cleaning, rug cleaning, upholstery cleaning, duct cleaning, and power washing services. Training is provided. Applicants for this position must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

**DAILY TASKS**
- Perform or assist in all duties necessary to provide quality carpet cleaning (Set up the van at the job site properly, safely/productively prepare the home for cleaning, clear communication with clients, follow all procedures for pre-conditioning/deodorizing/extraction/stain protection, maintain cleanliness throughout the home during service, etc.)
- Account for and return all cleaning tools and cleaning agents, hoses, chemicals, etc. to the truck before departure from the customer’s home.
- Clean vehicle and/or detail at end of each day
- Keep proper inventory of equipment, spotting agents and other items on truck.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collect/process payment for services in the field.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**

Consistently interact professionally with clients and Executive Steam staff, strong attention to detail and follow through, consistent and reliable attendance, comfort using mobile devices for communication/navigation/job payments, ability to read/analyze daily job notes and schedule, full range of physical mobility (position requires sustained sitting, standing, stooping, lifting as much as 50 lbs., carrying, repetitive motions due primarily to cleaning work), understanding of dilution ratios for mixing of products and some technical math as well as basic chemistry (training provided), valid driver's license (technicians are responsible for driving company vehicles to each job), must maintain a clean driving record, willingness to maintain a clean/organized environment, must keep provided uniforms and appearance tidy and professional at all times, ability to work alone (be self-directed, complete tasks as assigned, physically assist customers and problem-solve)

**PREFERRED SKILLS**

Previous experience in carpet cleaning, duct/furnace cleaning, related machinery and/or customer service. 30-40 hours/week | $18.00+ per hour | training & uniforms provided

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
