**MAIN TASKS**:

- Performs detailed inspection on all API and Premium Threaded products, ensures products are within specified tolerances.
- Uses handheld measuring instruments (micrometer, caliper, thread gauges) to verify that all parts meet specifications.
- Thread gauge set-up, MRP’s, etc.
- Manages calibration department.
- Performs routine maintenance on all measuring equipment.
- Performs Contract review
- Documents all inspections and deviations according to our API Q1 and ISO 9001 certified QMS
- Works with co-workers to create and qualify robust inspection processes.
- Involvement in writing and developing for inspection processes.
- Communicates and documents NCR’s.
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of all activities in inspection.
- Reads and interprets drawings, charts, tables and work orders.
- May create and revise quality procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring safety procedures and initiatives are executed, expediting and supporting incident reporting, facilitates compliance.
- Performs receiving, in process and final inspection on products.
- Manages calibration activities and associated record maintenance of inspection and testing gauges.
- Maintains a clean work environment.
- Adheres to all company Quality policies and procedures.
- Ensures quality records are properly maintained as per the QMS.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with Inspection’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Related post-secondary education in Technology preferred, combination of education and experience would be considered.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment performing machine shop inspection, measuring instruments calibration and other relevant experience.
- Experience training and guiding / leading employees.
- Working knowledge of ISO/API quality systems.
- Familiarity with API Q1, 5CT, 5B, 7-1, ISO 9001:2015 would be an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Must possess good interpersonal and excellent communication skills as well as a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of OCTG is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple stakeholders.
- Superior detail orientation; values accuracy and has high standards around quality of work.
- Positive approach, with willingness to do what is needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a timely and effective fashion.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
