Due to increasing demand for our services, we are looking for a motivated individual to join us here at TNT Tree Service Ltd. as part of our “We Care Tree Care” team in the role of crew leader/foreman.

Our core values of Teamwork, Respect, Education, and Excellence guide us in providing the highest quality tree services to our clients in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas.Reporting to the General Foreman, the successful applicant would be responsible for leading a team of 4-8 arborists, to complete the scheduled daily tasks on time and within budget. We are a full service tree care provider with a mix of pruning, removal, planting and PHC activities to ensure that your days are varied.

**Job Requirements**
- 3+ years industry experience in residential and/or commercial tree care with the ability to mentor new employees in all facets of tree care
- MB Arborist licence, ISA certification, or equivalent _**required.**_
- Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence _**(required)**_ with the ability to obtain your Class 3 licence

**Job description And Primary Duties**
- Knowledge of proper pruning practices, including large shade trees and ornamentals.
- Knowledge of chain saw safety and operation.
- Adept in tree climbing and/or bucket truck /lift operation.
- Quality workmanship, quality control with customer care attitude.
- Direct crew in their performance of work to be done; assign job specific tasks.
- Supervise other arborists to ensure the work meets job order specifications.
- Ensure crew members wear their required PPE at all times, and that all safety practices and measures are followed.
- Manage time, equipment and materials to ensure that equipment and manpower are used in the most efficient manner.
- Direct the cleanup of the job site and ensure all equipment and supplies are secured on the trucks.
- Reorder materials and supplies needed for trucks and equipment.
- Adhere to company safety and training policies to maintain a safe and controlled work environment at all times.
- Confirm that all maintenance checks and services on equipment are followed.
- Ensure that crews are properly trained and understand company safety policies and procedures.
- Safely operate equipment (chainsaw, chipper, trucks, and hand tools).
- Participate in all job site safety briefings.
- Perform all required ground and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments
- Assist in the performance of specialized pruning and removals, installing cabling and bracing.
- Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- industry: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
- ISA Certification or equivalent (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Winnipeg, MB R3T 1T4 (preferred)
