The work location is at
- **Nunavik** and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks for rest.**Privileges & benefits**

**Responsibilities**
- Under the supervision of the IT Supervisor, the main responsibilities of this position will be:
- Support, maintain and optimize the administrative network infrastructure (Cisco), as well as the firewall and routing infrastructure (Fortinet);
- In collaboration with the telecom technician, support and maintain the satellite (C-Band, OneWeb) and microwave (Cambium, AirMux) communication systems;
- Support, maintain and optimize the production network infrastructure (OT);
- Support the integration of the Azure hybrid network infrastructure;
- Ensure the integrity and security of the network infrastructure;
- Ensure level 2 and 3 technical support for end users;
- Establish and implement a strategy to improve the company's network security and resilience;
- Actively participate in the IT department's continuous improvement, expansion and maintenance projects, as well as in the purchasing process;
- Participate in the testing and maintenance of the infrastructure for the disaster recovery system;
- Write procedural reports;
- Maintain documentation for the various systems.
**Qualifications**
- College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree in computer science with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Very good experience in LAN and WAN administration, including firewall, routing, VLAN, VPN
- In-depth knowledge of computer networks (Cisco, Fortinet)
- Knowledge of satellite and microwave communications an asset
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification an asset
- Fortinet certification an asset
- Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) essential.
