Builders Door & Window is a locally family owned and operated company that has been offering customized windows and doors since 1986 located in Abbotsford. We are known throughout the industry for our high-end products and excellent personalized customer service. As a responsible corporate citizen, we work towards preserving our natural resources and are committed to continued manufacturing of custom wood doors and windows with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. We are seeking a motivated, dedicated and intelligent Shop Worker to join our team.

**Shop Worker Responsibilities**:

- Prepare Materials for Orders
- Assembly of all components in the manufacturing of Custom Wood Doors and Windows
- Ensuring tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensure production schedules are adhered to
- Safely operate power hand tools and wood working machinery ensuring best practices and safety guidelines are adhered to
- Work closely with Production Manager

**Skills Required**:

- Experience/knowledge in carpentry or wood product manufacturing. Experience in the manufacturing of wooden windows and doors considered an asset
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Analytical minded
- Ability to make precise cuts maximizing materials and limiting material waste
- Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Overall positive attitude with self-starter tendencies
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- Valid Fork Lift Operators license (preferred)

Daily hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Competitive benefit package offered. Compensation will be based on skill level.
