**Job Purpose**: To safely finish required quantity and quality of product by coating, inspecting, grinding, and cleaning in a timely and efficient manner, and in accordance with plant and company specifications.

**Title**: Sprayer
**Reports to**: Production Supervisor
**Shift**: Days 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
**Location**: 3440 Semenyk Ct, Mississauga, ON
**Wage**: $21.75/hr.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Read and interpret work instructions, engineering criteria and/or prints of assemblies.
- Set-up and operate powered and manual equipment to OHSA/Company safety standards.
- Check porcelain enamel viscosity and film thickness. Filter porcelain enamel through ultrasonic sieve. Fill pressure tanks with porcelain enamel. Dispense porcelain enamel as required.
- Inspect product for defects and quality issues to ensure standards are met
- Package products
- Unload parts from conveyor line
- Responsible for grinding, sanding and polishing product if needed for respray. Uses hand tools and power tools to ensure a smooth finish.
- Dispose of chemicals safely and in accordance with company standards.
- Rotating between spray booth, material preparation, and inspection/packaging as necessary
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area in accordance to 5S principles.

**Education and Experience**:

- High School or GED, or 2 - 5 years relevant manufacturing experience.
- Prior porcelain, adhesive, powder coating experience is considered an asset
- Basic computer skills an asset.
- Able to work from verbal and/or written instructions with mínimal supervision.
- Good hand-eye coordination required.
- Able to work in a fast-paced sheet metal environment.
- Eye for detail. High level of concentration and focus required.
- Good dexterity and some lifting (up to 40 pounds).
- Licensed lift truck operator is an asset.
- Must be clean shaven every day in order to wear respirator.
