Position Description

The Technical Specialist will be the national expert on servicing specialized tools including hydraulics, nailers, calibrations and future new categories. Working closely with the US prior to product launches you will communicate the Canadian servicing needs and establish fixturing, equipment and parts requirements. You will provide training to our FSC technicians and ASC network ensuring that service plans are executed in a timely manner to support successful product launches.

Your time will be split between repairing these products at our hub FSC, providing training for our technicians, and developing service launch plans for new products.

Education and Experience Required
- Min 5 years’ experience as a repair technician
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Preference will be given to those with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in hydraulic, electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Ability to travel
- Experience with MS Office
- Must possess effective business communication skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Team-oriented and also be capable of working independently
