We're looking for a Digital Editor & Creator

Reporting to the Director, Content Strategy, in this role you’ll be responsible for the creation, production and execution of digital video content for key media properties in our music brands & in-house productions portfolio. You’ll also work with our Branded Content & Integrations team to support the creation of digital content for advertisers.

**What you will do**
- Create and develop multimedia content for Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest etc. and other digital platforms (apps, website, etc.)
- Plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations
- Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media
- Collaborate with a wide array of talent, hosts, producers, & radio announcers to film, edit & direct different types of video projects
- Brainstorm/pitch creative video ideas to the Digital Content Team for Marketing, Music Brands & In House Productions, and Branded Content & Integrations to use.
- Provide editing support for digital content across all Rogers TV & Radio brands.
- Work with the Branded Content & Integrations team to ensure content aligns with client brief and editorial requirements

**What you will bring**
- You have a strong reel that accurately reflects your skills in creating content, including editing videos, for Digital and Social Media platforms
- Contemporary and modern in your editing/shooting style
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, etc.)
- Be very confident in your own work - but not take criticism/changes personally
- Production skills: photography and videography, camera operation, sound, lighting, and quality sound capture
- Possess strong communication skills and a be a people person
- Ability to adapt to a lot of different types of environments. One day you will need to work on your own to meet a deadline, and then the next day you need to turn that social switch on and be a director
- Strong editorial judgement
- Captivate our viewers by editing in a style and creativity that aligns with our viewers and the relevant show brands - ensure your work has all-around consistency (style, fonts, brand and tone)
- Ability to multitask. In a day you could be out shooting for a couple hours, editing and delivering a different project for a deadline at the end of the day, and also helping other teams/departments with their own time-sensitive digital requests
