**The Team**
The Court Clerk Team and Court Registry Team play a vital role in supporting the judicial system at both the Provincial and Supreme Court levels. These established teams, made up of 12-17 members each, work collaboratively to ensure fair access to justice for all British Columbians. As part of these teams, you will provide essential support to justice system partners such as judges, justices of the peace, and counsel, while benefiting from a collaborative, team-oriented environment that values equity, diversity, and inclusion in every aspect of its work.

**The Role**
As a Court/Registry Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the Provincial and Supreme Courts by facilitating in-court proceedings and providing client service at the counter. Your work will help clients navigate the justice system efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely access to justice. **Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of two years’ administrative support or customer service experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Must have experience keyboarding a minimum of 40 words per minute (WPM).
- Experience as a Court Clerk and/or Registry Clerk. One year of work experience in a legal environment.Provisos:

- May be required to work flexible hours, including varied shifts and overtime on short notice.
- May be required to travel, including travel in adverse weather conditions and work in other geographical areas, including circuit court locations.
- Must have reliable transportation and/or be willing to travel with others.
- Valid B.C. drivers’ licence.

**About this Position**:
Two positions available.
These are temporary opportunities until March 31, 2025. These positions may be extended or become permanent.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
