The opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated individual for the role of **Wheeled Loader Operator**. As a Loader Operator you would:
Operate a wheel loader (primarily)
Operate other power construction equipment as required, including but not limited to rock trucks, excavators, graders, dozers, and bobcats
Operates all types of self-propelled equipment, whether controlled mechanically, electrically, electronically, hydraulically, or automatically
Loads and moves dirt, rocks, equipment, and materials
Perform other site duties as required

Work safely and promote a safe work environment adhering to safety policies and procedures including participation in safety meetings.
Complete the daily maintenance and safety inspections of their assigned piece of equipment as outlined in the Milner Group’s maintenance policy
Conduct pre-trip inspections
Operate their equipment in a manner as not to cause damage to the equipment or any surrounding structures or impediments and to do so safely to ensure the safety of themselves and others onsite
Ensure effective communication on progress and any potential issues are brought to the attention of the Foreman/Superintendent
Maintain equipment and promptly report any maintenance issues
A valid Class 5 Driver’s License
A minimum of 2 years’ wheel loader operating experience
The ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
Pride of ownership in providing quality results and service
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work with a diverse group of professionals
