**Pacific Industrial Movers LP (dba) Apex Specialized Rigging & Moving and Pro-Tech Industrial Movers**, part of NorLand Limited, provides specialized rigging, heavy transport of major components and customized solutions for their customers.

We have an exciting opportunity for a new team member to fill the position of _**Rigger / Class 1 Driver**_ at Pacific Industrial Movers. **Your Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Load/unload trailers, tie-down loads, tarp load and rigging**:

- **Work alongside rigging crew to offload and place equipment using various specialized tools and equipment**:

- Follow the instructions outlined in the driver SOP (standard operating procedure) and pay attention to details
- Exercise good driving manners and taking precautionary measures during inclement weather conditions
- Safely deliver loads of equipment, including oversize, to our worksites
- Ensure proper documentation maintained
- Always maintain good working relations with customers through cooperative attitude
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements

**To qualify for this role, you should have**:

- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Willing to obtain tickets/certifications
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn and work within a team environment
- Able to lift heavy items
- Honest, reliable, punctual, positive attitude and flexible availability including work out of town is required
- Valid Class 1 BC driver’s license is not required but considered an asset (provided a clean drivers abstract)
- Valid Class 3 BC driver’s license is not required but considered an asset
- Crane ticket, forklift ticket, and oversize load experience an asset
- Rigging experience is preferred, but not required
- This position will be reporting to onsite

**Salary**: $30.00-$32.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
