As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bar/restaurant operations, including our innovative golf simulator experience. You will ensure that our establishment runs smoothly, maintains high standards of quality and service, and achieves financial goals. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a positive work environment and ensuring customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Leadership and Management**:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the bar/restaurant and golf simulator.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, including bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, and support staff.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- **Customer Service**:
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
- **Golf Simulator Operations**:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the golf simulator equipment.
- Train staff on the use of golf simulators and ensure they can assist guests effectively.
- Develop and implement golf simulator programs, leagues, and special events to attract and engage customers.
- Ensure guests have an enjoyable and seamless experience using the golf simulators.
- **Financial Management**:
- Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
- Monitor sales and expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
- Implement cost control measures and optimize operational efficiencies.
- **Marketing and Promotions**:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Plan and oversee special events, promotions, and activities, including golf simulator tournaments and themed nights.
- Utilize social media and other marketing channels to enhance the bar/restaurant's visibility and reputation.
- **Inventory and Supplies**:
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
- Ensure that all supplies and equipment are maintained and in good working condition.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar/restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies.
- Experience with golf simulators or similar entertainment equipment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
