**Job Summary**
- The PhD in Health is a Faculty-wide program with students and supervisors working in various labs and locations across campus and abroad. The PhD Program Specialist provides administrative support to the PhD in Health program. The position reports to the Director of Research for the Faculty of Health, however, the work is also accountable to the Program Coordinator (faculty member).

**Key Responsibilities**
- As first point of contact for the PhD Health program, advise and assist students at all stages of the program (prospective, current, graduated) regarding administrative matters, program requirements, and program milestones.
- In collaboration with Program Coordinator and Finance Director, establish appropriate levels of funding related to the operating budget to support the program. Maintain and monitor record of operating expenses and scholarship payments and report to Finance Director.

**Note**
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- Office/business administration program, with approximately five years’ relevant experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Demonstrated excellence in service and intercultural competence, as well as strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy while working under mínimal supervision in a busy office environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and learn various software.

**Assets**
- An undergraduate degree in business administration.
- Experience within a university or post-secondary environment.
