Toronto, Canada Glover & Associates Full time

**Glover & Associates **is a boutique law firm with a location in Ajax and the Toronto Beaches. We are seeking a law clerk with 1-3 years of relevant experience in either family litigation, estate litigation, or ideally both

Our firm offers a relaxed working environment, and the position can either be part time (minimum 20 hours per week) or full time. The position will be in office for the probationary period with transition to a hybrid work model. Thereafter you’ll come into the office as needed, usually between 1-3 days per week at either of our locations. **Duties and Responsibilities**
- A working knowledge of court filing requirements and deadlines, including practice directions and Rules of Civil Procedure as well as Family Law Rules
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, affidavits, minutes of settlement, and separation agreements
- Track limitation deadlines and filing deadlines for court matters
- Manage and organize case files, keeping a complete digital record of all correspondence and documents
- Support 1-2 lawyers in preparation for court and coordination of file management
- Provide administrative support, scheduling appointments, management of calendars
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Capability to juggle priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly

**Experience**
- Law Clerk Diploma from any accredited institution
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a law clerk or legal assistant, preferably in family law and/or estates
- Experience with legal software/websites including Outlook, Microsoft Office, Adobe, DocuSign, Divorcemate, and Caselines
- Experience with docketing and billable targets

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
