Apex Utilities Inc. (AUI) is a provincially regulated natural gas distribution utility delivering safe, reliable, clean, and affordable natural gas service to over 82,000 residential, rural, commercial, and industrial customers in more than 90 communities across Alberta. Since 1954, Apex operates over 21,000 km of natural gas pipelines and over 700 pressure and regulating stations through a network of 16 district offices.

Under the supervisor of the District Supervisor, Distribution Operations, the Summer Support will be responsible to assist the Distribution Operations team at Apex Utilities.

Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Assisting with the annual leak survey;
- Yard and office maintenance;
- Painting stations;
- Building meter sets;
- Vegetation control within district area;
- Assist TDO’s with district needs; and
- General maintenance activities.

The successful student will have a completed their first year of post-secondary education and be enrolled for the Fall 2024 term. No previous work experience is required.
