**You as an Estimator will**:

- Confidently lead a team through the completion of a bid process under pressure while building strong relationships with sub-trades
- Assemble accurate, timely and well-organized estimates, including hard-bid, construction management and design-build
- Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders and assisting the buy-out process
- Monitor the success of a project, noting potential challenges and building relationships with sub-trades for future opportunities
- Distribute sub-trade quotes to personnel, flagging areas of concern and coordinating with management to accommodate risk within the bid price
- Maintain databases, including labour rates, material pricing and project costs, for future reference

**Is this the right role for you?**
- You have a construction related degree/diploma and 3 to 5 years of estimating experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- You have a working knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts
- You have a sound understanding of blueprints, drawings and specifications in particular scope of work.
- You have the ability to work effectively and accurately in time sensitive situations within a team
- Previous experience working in a General Contractor, an asset.
