**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Corporation of the City of Orillia has an opening for a temporary employee for the position of Permits Clerk Technician in the Development Services and Engineering Department for approximately 11 months.

**DUTIES**
- Provide assistance with special projects as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Community college diploma in Office administration or related field.
- General knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and familiarity with construction terminology and practices.
- Excellent judgment, initiative, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment and ability to deal with the public in sensitive and emotional situations.
- Must possess a valid Class G Ontario drivers’ licence with access to a reliable vehicle.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $29.18-$34.84 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
