Reporting to the Bakery Manager, the Midnight Baker is an integral part of our team who is responsible for the preparation of breads, bagels, pastries, rolls and other baked goods. Midnight bakers work among a small crew between 9pm - 7am, every day of the week.

What You Bring to Our Team:

- Experience in a bakery
- Scratch baking experience is an asset
- Ability to prepare a wide variety of bread products from scratch
- A passion and love for food
- Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and lift
- Excellent attention to detail and initiative
- Strong math skills
- Flexible availability from 11:00pm to 7:00am, seven days per week

What You Get To Do:

- Ensure a friendly, positive, and supportive work environment
- Follow signature SUNRIPE recipes
- Measure ingredients using measuring tools
- Mix ingredients, by hand and with large floor mixers
- Roll dough by hand, cut dough into sections for baking pans and hand shaped breads
- Proof dough and prepare for baking
- Bake goods and remove from oven promptly to place on cooling racks
- Follow safe food handling requirements
- Follow and ensure government regulations, company policies and procedures
- Maintain clean and tidy preparation areas
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery freezer and cooler
- Assist in training new team members
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
