Restorative Wellness is currently seeking Live In Child & Youth Care Worker (4 days on and 4 days off) that are ready to work alongside an amazing team of people that are passionate about seeing our people flourish.

Restorative Wellness combines clinical judgement with compassion and hope to create therapeutic living environments in which goals are realized, and hope and health are restored.

Our clinical team and organization are composed of experts in a variety of fields including Behavior Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Clinical Psychology. Child and Youth workers support youth and adults with challenging behaviors, a history of profound trauma and loss, neurodiverse diagnoses, and attachment difficulties. Working in a residential setting, our team implements our Guiding Principles, providing for the social-emotional and physical needs of our clients through assisting with daily living skills, implementing therapeutic goals to increase independence and regulation, and participating alongside clients in Land Based Therapy and Cultural Immersion led by local Elders.

Preferred applicants will have SIVA Training, MANDT, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and a diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care, Psychology, or a related field.

To work with children in care you must be 19yrs of age or older to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide in-home care and support to individuals in need with a 4 day on shift and 4 day off model
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is a plus
- Ability to educate and provide guidance to clients and their families

**Skills**:

- Compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and understanding when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations
- Ability to adapt to different situations and provide personalized care based on individual needs
