**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of employees skilled in the scrap business, at our Collingwood location.
- Oversee day to day operations of the business to ensure you are efficient and organized
- Creating new strategies for growth and future opportunities
- Overseeing the location’s budget and managing expenses
- Training new staff and developing other high performing employees
- Partnering with Human Resources as it relates to hiring, employee relations matters, performance management, terminations and performance reviews
- Evaluating productivity and performance while implementing strategies for overall improvement
- Maintaining reports of business performance and employee performance
- Coordinating team meetings
- Providing relevant training for all positions in the yard
- Set the example - build strong and trusting relationships with senior members of All Ontario Recycling as well as your team of employees
- Prioritize and assign work to meet company needs
- Ensure quality, compliance and safety of company's assets
- Promote safe and healthy work environment
- Control inventory and labor costs
- Assist in the counting of ATM for all cash brought into the yard
- Manage employee schedule to ensure appropriate coverage
- Partner with Human Resources regarding absenteeism
- Review and consider all requests for time off while ensuring sufficient coverage in the yard
- Coach and mentor all employees
- Comply with all waste management regulations
- Promote exceptional customer service

**Qualifications**
- Must possess a minimum of three years experience in the Recycling and Waste management industry
- Managerial and leadership skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strategic business planning
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Data analysis skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to work well under stress
- Ensure Health & Safety is a priority
