**Position Details**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assess and analyze that the business written by our Broker and Direct channels adhere to CAA’s underwriting guidelines and procedures
- Communicate any identified trends, quality of underwriting decisions and recommend opportunities of training and education
- Present and deliver audit findings to all partners and create effective action plans
- Work on projects as required, both from leading small projects to representing the Underwriting department
- Support the Underwriting team through knowledge transfer of new business, renewals and policy changes, property inspections.
- Design, improve, and maintain key audit reports and By-Pass training documents
- Assist the Business Development Team on the assessments of Broker opportunities

**JOB REQUIREMENTS***
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in personal lines auto and property underwriting
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong decision-making skills, risk assessment ability, and P&C product knowledge
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Access and Excel)
- Post-secondary education in a related field, and/or currently holds or working towards CIP is required
