We are looking for a Shipping-Handling/Auction Cataloguing Worker who would perform 50% of their time assisting in our shipping department and 50% of their time assisting in picturing and cataloguing items for auction. Reporting to the Shipping-Handling, Warehouse Supervisor or Owner (depending on situation or area), the Shipper-Handling/Auction Cataloguing Worker is responsible for the following:

- Pick, pack, seal and label packages and envelopes for shipping, using appropriate shipping supplies
- Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
- May transport and store goods within area of operation
- Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
- Organize and manage the shipping office, ensure goods are stored safely and appropriately.
- Ensure shipping supplies and inventory is maintained and work area is kept clean
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand
- Material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
- transportation of goods off of vehicles and loading docks to store/sort/picture and retrieve materials in warehouses
- May perform other activities, such as emptying boxes, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.
- Ensuring goods are placed safely, securely and in appropriate locations
- Simple data entry of items in warehouse
- Simple photography/staging of auction items in warehouse
- May be cross-trained to assist operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Other relevant duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Grade 12 Education
- Experience in shipping/handling is considered an asset
- Physical strength may be required in instances where larger auction items are brought in or purchased
- Experience in photography is considered an asset
- Experience in material handling is considered an asset
- Experience with computer systems, cameras and data entry is considered an asset

**Job Details**
- Work hours are a minimum of 28 hours each week
- Open office hours Tuesday - Friday from 9am - 4pm, must be available to work Mondays as needed
- Training and direction will be provided, but also must be able to work independently
- Pay is scaled according to experience ($15-$17/hour)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 40 per week
