**Production Foreman/Woman**

The Production Foreman oversees the production process, manages personnel, and ensures that all safety regulations are followed. He/she will also be expected to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process and ensure that all products meet quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**

According to experience, between $30.19 - $41.02 / hour (including weekend shift 3 hour premium)

**Schedule**
- Permanent
- Part-time*
- Saturday and Sunday, 7h30 am - 8h00 pm,
- Every weekend

*24 hours / week, with the possibility of recall during the week to fill the 40h week. To be discussed.

**Tasks**
- **Staff supervision**: ensure proper support for all inspectors/assemblers and coordinators, track attendance, arrival times and departures, supervise the material handlers and ensure the production floor and warehouse are kept clean, organized, and well stocked, ensure break schedules are respected.
- **Training of new personnel**: Lead and support material handler training as required.
- **Production**: Manage start-ups, shutdowns, and product changeovers
- **Quality and efficiency**: start-up production runs, monitor cycle times, respond to quality issues highlighted by the inspector/assemblers, and adjust machine as required, monitor production quantities, ensure accurate color settings, minimize scrap production, and minimize machine downtime, troubleshoot minor processing/machine issues.
- **Material stocking**: Ensure each of the workstations are appropriately stocked, with the correct materials and that proper materials / components are being used for production, ensure trailers are being loaded safely and correctly.
- **Cleanliness and Organization**: Ensure all areas are kept clean, keep scrap product on the production floor to a minimum, ensure that the factory floor is ready for the incoming shift (cleanliness, sufficient stock, etc.).
- **Continuous Improvement**: Support the organization in developing key processes and documenting key learning.
- **Health and Safety**: Enforce the health and safety policy and monitor compliance, keep important access points clear (exit doors, electrical panels), repot any non-conformities.

**Requirements**:

- 2 years of experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate in French and English (bilingual work environment)
- Basic mechanical skills (an asset)
- Basic computer skills (an asset)
- Available for occasional replacements on other shifts
- Ability to multitask, make decisions and prioritize
- Known for having a good attitude and ability to get along with others
- Safety is you top priority
