**Reports to**: Parts Manager

**Summary**

This position is responsible for the picking up and delivering to internal customers. In addition, this role helps to maintain a clean, organized and well stocked inventory.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assists the Parts Advisors with pick-up and delivery of parts in the workshop.
- Picks parts using pick tickets and deliver to technician’s work bench.
- Retrieves and delivers tire packages from basement storage to technicians.
- Assists in labelling customer tire packages in storage area.
- Scraps and sorts warranty parts.
- Assists in inventory counts.
- Processes and tracks parts that have been placed or ordered.
- Monitors communications and respond to off-site requests for assistance.
- Monitors and reports all health and safety issues as related to the shop area or any location where maintenance is being performed.
- Organizes and maintaining cleanliness and organization in parts warehouse.
- Maintains customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Previous experience in an automotive parts department is an asset.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be able to communicate in verbal and written English.
- Knowledge of health and safety hazards and precautions.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Performs calculations and works with numbers to solve problems.
- Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Must be able to lift and carry products weighting up to a maximum of 50lbs.
