**Here's our goal**:
Our goal is to process and recycle as many scrap materials as possible in order to play our part in keeping our environment clean, by using less energy producing new metals. Most of our recycled metals are sold to steel mills, which are then exported and used in the fabrication of things like new cars, and new pipe.

**Here's where you come in**:
Bulldog Metals is looking for a Customer Service Advisor. In this position, you will take care of our clients and be the ferrous scale weighmaster.

**Here's what you'll be responsible for in this role**:
Environmental and Health & Safety (H&S)
- Strictly adheres to all Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
- Provides a safe environment for all employees, customers and visitors.

Operational Performance & Best Business Practices
- You will answer incoming calls and support customers and vendors while ensuring quality customer service and adhering to the policies and procedures of the business. You will support our customers to schedule car pick-ups, schedule bins, inform prices. Etc. You will track and document all support provided to customers and vendors for our monthly metrics.
- As a ferrous scale weighmaster you will be responsible for the track and record full and empty weight and grade based on operators instructions; you will frequently interact by phone with the machine operators and cashier to provide accurate, timely, and complete transaction documentation.
- You will support the dispatcher in scheduling and transmitting drivers and equipment for transportation of materials, freight, service. Duties may include using radio, telephone, or computer to transmit assignments and compile statistics and reports on work progress.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned or directed.

- Excellent communication skills. applicants must be able to hear and communicate verbally in English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Multitask skills
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently and to contribute as part of a team
- Computer skills (90% of your time will be working on computer systems)
- Ability to manage pressure. Workload may be unpredictable, and pressure can be substantial during peak times. Critical deadlines require considerable adaptability.
