Shingler/labourer

Duties:

- Install and repair roofs using various materials such as asphalt, wood, or metal
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare the surface for installation
- Install underlayment, flashing, and shingles according to industry standards
- Ensure proper ventilation and insulation in the roofing system
- Inspect roofs for damage or leaks and perform necessary repairs
- Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment

**Skills**:

- Experience as a shingler or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of different roofing materials and their installation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with measurements
- Driver's License with a clean driving record required.

The minimum age requirement for this position is 25 years or older, as mandated by insurance regulations.

- Monday to Friday

- Greater Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- roofing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
