We are Grayscale Fine Portraits, the masters of black and white portraiture. At our upscale studio in North York Toronto, we offer individuals and families a chance to let their true beauty shine by capturing and producing fine art black and white portraiture, where their real, feature-focused portraits stand out radiantly against this world of filters, special effects, and artificial lenses.

**Responsibilities**:

- The role requires both photography and administrative skills_
- Take photos in a studio setting, managing the lights and gear.
- Assist clients of all types with posing and keeping morale during portrait sessions.
- Retouch and edit photos with Adobe lightroom, photoshop, and other software.
- Liaise with teams of partners (retouchers, artists, etc.).
- Hold reasonable expectations of work quality.
- Be self-motivated and flex your creativity.
- Work with Google Suites updating various charts/spreadsheets, organizing albums, and updating the database with notes
- All team members are crossed-trained and may occasionally assist with other tasks

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

- Outstanding communication skills

- A very passionate and outgoing personality that people are attracted to
- Minimum 5 years of successful photography experience with a proven track record
- Knowledge of lights and camera gear (we use Canon) and technical abilities
- Experience in editing and retouching (e.g., adobe suite)
- Experience with affluent clients, you're comfortable with fine art operations
- Ability to establish immediate rapport with everyone
- You possess a strong “Can Do - Will Do" attitude combined with a cheerful positive outlook
- Flexible and open to trying new techniques, receiving feedback & experimenting novel ideas
