**Para Transit Driver Responsibilities**:
Operate Para transit vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the service area within a daily assigned time schedule providing door to door service for people with disabilities.

Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections as required.

Stop at designated addresses to load and/or unload passengers while providing door to door service.

Assist in the boarding and alighting of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and properly securing them.

Notify dispatch of issues with the schedule, collisions, passenger incidents, or vehicle mechanical issues.

Advise passengers of rules and regulations when necessary.

Complete and submit written reports concerning passengers and all incidents.

Operators must dress professionally and be neatly groomed.

**Para transit Driver Requirements**:
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a clean Driver Abstract.

Successfully pass the First Transit pre
- employment screening.

Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)

This is a 24/7 operation so must be available to work a variety of shifts
