Classification: 2 Junior Scared Connections positions, 10 Camp Counsellors

Start Date: June 17, 2024

Location: Youth Programs

**Salary**: 15.80 per hour

General Responsibility: Canada Summer Jobs staff are part of a team that takes responsibility for the development and facilitation of summer youth programs. The students shall participate in a range of opportunities in areas of Cultural and Social/Recreational programming. Responsibilities will include working with Seniors, emergency food services and with Youth Camps/activities, program promotion, supervision of children/youth. The Canada Summer Students will be supported by the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre staff.

Knowledge, Attributes and Personal Experience Required:

- Must be between the ages of 15-30 years.
- Willing to work an average of 30-40 hours per week.
- Previous volunteer/community service experience as asset
- Good communication/written skills
- Computer skills would be an asset.
- Willing to work occasional weekends.
- Must be a Team player.
- Should be a positive role model.
- Be reliable, respectful, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Must have good work ethics.
