In an ideal world, we wouldn’t need to have residential care programs for children and youth. But we all know that we don’t live in an ideal world. Sometimes, families need extra help and support.

Blue
_sky_ is an organization dedicated to helping children, youth, and their families. Based in Newfoundland and Labrador, we are constantly evolving to provide specialized care services in support of children and families. At Blue
_sky,_ children and young people are supported and nurtured with daily programming that incorporates educational, social, recreational and leisure activities. We believe in the infinite worth of every child and work through a child
- and youth
- centered lens to do right by those in our care.

Blue_ sky_ was the first organization in Newfoundland and Labrador to be nationally accredited by CARF for our residential care programs. Our staff consists of almost 200 people working in a variety of roles throughout the province to help hundreds of children and families in difficult times.

At Blue _sky_ we take care of our own - from the smallest of children to our highly valued staff. We are pleased to offer a competitive pay structure and a comprehensive health and dental plan that provides service and support to our employees and their families. When working with Blue _sky_, you will also receive access to company vehicles while on shift to transport children and youth in the community, flexible scheduling, smoothing hours (for full time staff) and the comfort of knowing you have a shift partner and will not work alone.
