We are looking for **HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS** to join our team and build the Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir, 15km west of Calgary. The Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir will provide flood protection along the Elbow River in Calgary and other downstream communities.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
- Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting, and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
- Complete production reporting and other documentation as required
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
- Shift based role, including nights and weekends
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

**Types of Heavy Equipment Operated**:

- Excavators, Graders
- Finish
- Dozers, Loaders
- Packers

**Requirements & Preferred Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
