**Position Overview**:
Industrial Painter is responsible for ensuring that all parts are sprayed to a consistently high quality in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include the identification and discarding of defective products, performing all work in a safe manner, cleaning and maintaining painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and person protective equipment. The Industrial Painter is responsible for tending to and operating machines that spray/coat products with paint, and machines that bring a quality finish to the product. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

**Main job duties**:

- _Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat_
- _Select appropriate paint or mix paints_
- _Clean and maintain equipment_
- _Select appropriate paint and mix (as required)_

**Specialized Skill Required**:

- _Hand-held spray guns, electrostatic method_
- _Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications_
- _Working at heights_
- _Use of catalyzed or polymerized paints_

**Work Experience Required**:Minimum 1 to 2 years experience

**Job Type**: Full Time, 45 hours per week, overtime pay after 44 hours

**Salary**: $24.00 per hour

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
