Industrial Firefighter

**We are also interestd in Firefighters who may be interested in cross-training (or who are trained) in other roles such as: H2S Supervior and/or Medics**

**You will be responsible for (but not limited to)**:

- Setting up and maintaining HSE Integrated firefighting and/or shower equipment as described in specific procedures.
- Inspecting equipment at the beginning and end of each job and/or shift, including cleaning and servicing as necessary.
- Conducting regular safety meetings with emphasis on specific hazards.
- Orientating all personnel on the location of pertinent safety, shower and firefighting equipment.
- Maintaining an up-to-date roster of personnel on location.

**Education and Certifications**
- Firefighter training must meet NFPA 1001 and / or 1081 standards.
- All standard field level tickets (current): H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSTS, CSO, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection. **_Don't have all these certificates? We can help you_**:

- Must be capable of operating fire pumps and all associated appliances.
- Experienced in the use of breathing apparatus and gas detection equipment.
- Physically capable of working in adverse environments and conditions.
- All applicants must have previous driving experience with a valid Class 3Q (or equivalent) driver’s license

**Experience**
- High Angle Rescue & Confined Space Rescue would be considered an asset
- Running breathing apparatus equipment would be considered an asset
- Industrial Firefighting and/or Paramedical experience would be considered an asset
