Oakville, Canada Calderwood Landscape Design Full time

As a Landscaper with Hardscaping experience, you will be involved in installing and maintaining landscaping and hardscaping features such as garden beds, mulch, sod, interlocking or natural stone patios, retaining walls, walkways, and more. The role requires someone who can safely operate truck and dump trailer to transport materials to job sites. We are looking for an individual who is committed to learning and growing within the field, with a strong desire to take on new skills and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the installation of landscaping and hardscaping features such as sod, patios, fire pits, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Operate trucks and dump trailers to transport materials and debris to and from job sites.
- Ensure the work site is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Work with team members to prepare surfaces and install hardscape structures according to design specifications.
- Assist with general landscaping tasks, including planting, mulching, and lawn care.
- Take direction from senior team members and learn new skills on the job.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a high standard of quality on every job.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in landscaping and hardscaping (preferred, but not required)
- Ability to safely operate trucks, dump trailers, and other landscaping equipment (valid driver’s license required).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are a must.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing manual labor outdoors.
- Keen interest in learning new skills and growing within the landscaping and hardscaping field.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 80 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
