Head Bartender

_**Our Business is Hospitality**_ We have an opportunity to add to our hospitality team in **Jonathan's** Lounge. Housed at the **Best Western Premier Denham Inn & Suites** in the heart of downtown Leduc, **Jonathan's** offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for friends and family to enjoy.

**Position**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Outlets Manager with Lounge operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lounge, providing leadership and duty manager coverage
- Maintain a working knowledge of the unique food and beverage products in Jonathan's
- Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal legislation as it relates to Food & Beverage and Gaming operations
- Maintain procedures for securing all financial transactions
- Regular collaboration with the Operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient processes through communication
- Implement and ensure the highest Food & Beverage standards are being adhered to
- Develop and train Food & Beverage Team Members
- Consistently demonstrate a commitment to providing Legendary Service for our guests
- Maintain a high level of integrity in all aspects of job performance
- Ensure storage rooms/work areas are organized and tidy
- Participate in and organize department meetings on a monthly basis
- Assist with inventory and ordering
- Ensure the Lounge and Hospitality areas are clean and organized
- Understand and abide by the Team Member Handbook, hotel policies and department procedures
- Consistently work within and maintain the Health & Safety program
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- *Minimum of 2 years’ experience serving alcohol (lounge, bar, banquets)
- 1 year or more Supervising in a restaurant or bar setting
- Experience working with VLTs and Lotto
- Current Pro Serve, Reel Facts - Required
- Pro Tect, First Aid, considered assets

Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
