**JOB TITLE**:Events Bartender

**DEPARTMENT**: Exhibitions & Facilities

**Report to**:Sales and Rental Coordinator

**Description of the Position**:provide bar service during special events inside the lounge area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests in a timely manner.
- Make food and beverage recommendations and answer questions
- Take and serve food/drinks orders
- Provide high-quality service to customers.
- Always keep tables clean and tidy.
- Cooperate and communicate with all staff.
- Ensuring compliance with provincial liquor and food safety regulations.
- Collecting and processing credit card, debit, or cash payments for bills

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Serving: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
- Smart Serve (required)
- strong people skills and outgoing personality
- excellent communication skills
- basic math ability
- a good memory
- organized and able to multitask

**Salary**: $15.50-$22.40 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- serving (preferred)
- Bartending (preferred)
