**Job Summary**

The Mixing Supervisor oversees manufacturing operations, supervision of staff and performance, process optimization, documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.

**Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Formulation and coordinates and plan production batches to meet schedule and customer orders
- Supervise employees (performance, training, vacation, overtime etc.)
- Might cover for breaks and absences
- Train new employees on GMP and SOPs and is responsible for continuous training on GMP for existing employees
- Respond proactively to operational issues; initiate communication with other support departments (filling, quality, maintenance, R&D) to solve issues
- Ensure that all operations are performed according to Batch Record instruction, work instructions, SOPs, and policies
- Collaborate with Quality to ensure compliance with GMP and ensure redaction and follow up on deviation reports, CAPA, SOP and training plan; Actively participate to develop a quality culture
- Ensure operational standards are met and action plan created if required
- Update production documents once manufacturing is completed
- Management and monitoring of production’s KPI
- Any other related tasks

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years in manufacturing or packaging environment
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
- Certificate in Lean principles.
- Experienced with ERP system (NetSuite) is a strong asset
- Knowledge of mixing/filling machines is an asset.
- Proven track record of leadership skills.
- Strong computer skills (including Excel, Outlook and data entry)
- High autonomy, initiative and drive, analytical and synthesis skills, punctuality, empathy, and sense of responsibility.
- Strong leadership and decisions making skills
- Ability to learn and remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills oral and written, English and French.
- Organized, self-disciplined and professional in demeanor.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to manage stress and adjust to changing priorities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
