We are seeking a dedicated, member service-oriented professionals to join our **Golf team as Full-time Golf Services Attendants from July to November 2023 (Weather dependent).**

Under the supervision and direction of the Golf Services Head Supervisor and Head Golf Professional, the Golf Services Attendant will perform his/her duties to ensure the safety and security of member’s golf equipment such as golf bags, golf clubs, driving range equipment, etc. and provide exceptional member service. The Golf Services Attendant will also ensure that the equipment is readily available for members prior to their tee-off time and that the practice facilities are fully stocked and presentable at all times.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure that member’s golfing equipment including their golf clubs, golf bag and transportation preferences are set and available for use prior to the start of their tee-off time.
- Retrieve, clean and store away golf equipment after members have completed their rounds.
- Perform daily cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe storage area for staff, members and guests which includes dusting, sweeping and mopping.
- Provide assistance to the Pro Shop when required.
- Report any damages of equipment to management to determine what reactive actions need to be taken.
- Be prepared for on-course tasks such as pick-ups, 9th tee carts, 10thtee shuttle, spotting etc.
- Perform daily opening and closing duties as specified by Donalda Club standards.
- Provide special attention to any assistance needed by a member outside the Clubhouse area.
- Provide club cleaning service for members and guests upon completion of their round or practice session.
- Pick up and drop off members and their equipment from the parking lot when required using Golf Carts as transportation.
- Perform any additional duties as specified by the Manager/Supervisors/Shift Leaders/Golf Professionals on duty.
- Daily cleaning of areas of responsibility: Back Shop, Power Caddy Storage, Cart Barn, Staging Area and Lower Practice Green, and Driving Range.

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATION REQUIRED**:

- Completion of High School Education (Grade 12) is required
- Knowledge of the game of Golf and the principles surrounding etiquette is recommended
- Good communication skills with a good working knowledge of written and spoken English
- Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining composure and performance standard during busy peak periods
- Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors for long periods of time
- Must be able to perform lifting and mild strenuous activity
- Must be able to at least lift 25 lbs (Golf Bags)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on member service
- Well groomed, mannerly, co-operative and outwardly friendly (team oriented)
- Able to work shifts - days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Punctual and reliable

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**:
Possession of valid driver’s license and a safe driving record

**Contract Terms**
- Up to 40 hours per week (varied shift work schedule)
- Hourly Wage plus bonus
- One duty meal per day complimentary
- Uniform provided by the Club
- Able to work evenings, weekends including holidays
- Accessible by TTC
