**Robertson School of Health has an immediate need for a Health Care Aide Instructor.**

**Overview**

We are seeking a **Health Care Aide Clinical Instructor** **to join our School of Health. You will be reporting the the **Manager, Operations School of Health**.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Be available to problem solve all students and staff for questions and concerns daily- Support and guide students in a positive learning environment on duties and responsibilities of a HCA- Monitor students skill on assigned tasks while out on practicum- Complete weekly report on students and their progress- Provide feedback and assistance to student on positive or “need to work on” statements- Collaborate with the preceptor/staff in completing a final evaluation on the student’s practical performance- Facilitate on filling out practicum checklists- Review final evaluations with each student- Document daily performance on students

**QUALIFICATIONS**5 years of current Health care experience, preferably working in Long Term Care**LPN/RN license (required)**Current CPR and PHIA (preferred)**- Confident and self-managing- Efficient with strong organizational skills- Dependable and punctual- Approachable- Excellent problem-solving skills- Effective and open communication- Adaptable and flexible- Multicultural sensitivity/awareness- Ability to work in a team environment- Proficient computer skills

**Job Type**: Fixed-term contract (Part-time)

**Salary Rate**: $34.00-$37.89

**Schedule**:Monday - Friday (Day/Evening Shift)

**Work Location**:In person
