SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $95,000

The Campaign Manager is a senior member of the Victoria Hospital Foundation’s (VHF) team, reporting to the

Chief Executive Officer. In partnership with the CEO, the Campaign Manager is responsible for the administration and achievement of the contributed revenue goals for the VHF’s capital fundraising campaign supporting the expansion and renovation of the Victoria Hospital.

The Capital Campaign Manager will manage all aspects of the Capital Campaign, including budget and activity tracking. The Campaign Manager will work closely with the CEO on the campaign strategy, including establishing solicitation priorities, managing prospect lists, developing and executing targeted cultivation plans and solicitation strategies, and preparing and providing support to staff, board members, and volunteers for solicitation.

Together with the CEO, the Campaign Manager will help develop and oversee the implementation of the strategy for the campaign, including extensive work with the Campaign Cabinet, VHF staff and board leadership, outside consultants, and staff colleagues.

The success of the campaign is dependent upon widespread participation from the VHF’s donor family. To this end, the Campaign Manager will work closely with staff colleagues responsible for the VHF’s major gifts, annual fund, stewardship, communications, and financial services programs.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Serve as the lead strategic partner for the CEO, and Campaign Cabinet for the planning and execution of the fundraising campaign.
- Chairs the Campaign Management Committee and Chairs the Prospect Management Committee.
- Direct and oversee the implementation of all aspects of the campaign including the execution of fundraising plans, timetables, prospect pipelines, and achievement of clearly defined goals.
- Coordinate executive leadership, fundraising staff, and campaign volunteer leadership involvement by supporting the creation of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for lead prospects, and preparing proposals and collateral material.
- This work will require coordination with other members of the Foundation team, most importantly the frontline fundraisers.
- Engage donors and practice good donor stewardship at every opportunity.
- Create strategies and oversee execution for campaign-related announcements and gift celebration events in collaboration with communications staff as required.
- Assist in the development and execution of strategies for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of current and new donors, and maintain an organized and detailed prospective donor pipeline.
- For solicitations, organize, review, and prepare as needed, all materials, from prospect research to customized briefings, to bespoke proposals.
- Maintain annotated table of gifts, list of recognition opportunities, gift acceptance policies, and pledge agreements.
- Support the Campaign Cabinet and its Co-chairs, and the Foundation CEO, and provide necessary campaign updates and numerical analysis as needed, including quarterly budgets, monthly progress reports, and tracking donations realized against targets.
- In partnership with the CEO, oversee and manage all committees (including the Campaign Management Committee and the Prospect Management Committee) related to the campaign, including volunteer leadership recruitment.
- Support the Campaign Cabinet; organize meetings, prepare materials, track follow-up, and support the CEO in providing one-on-one training for volunteer fundraisers if need be.
- Oversee campaign-related materials (case statement, bespoke proposals, written and electronic external communications, reports, invitations, etc.), in conjunction with the Development Officer for Campaign Communications as well as the Department of Communications.
- Manage, alongside the CEO, all consultant relationships connected to the campaign.
- Lead the production of Campaign and moves management reports.
- May be required to act as a spokesperson for the Campaign at community presentations and media events.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Campaign Cabinet ensuring regular communication and alignment of priorities.
- Perform additional duties as required to achieve the philanthropic goals of the VHF.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education in Project Management, Fundraising, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of work experience and education. CFRE designation and experience working in healthcare or not-for-profit organization is an asset. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferred.
