**Salary**: $2,757.39 to $ 3,604.17 bi-weekly ($71,967 - $94,068/year)

The Alberta Crown Prosecution Service (ACPS) prosecutes persons charged with Criminal Code, Youth Criminal Justice Act, and provincial statute offences. The ACPS promotes safe communities by vigorously prosecuting cases involving serious and violent crime and working with individuals and organizations in the community to identify and implement improved and alternative approaches to the administration of criminal justice.

**Role Responsibilities**:
In conjunction with Disability Management, this position will also be responsible for all aspects of case management of non-occupational and occupational illness and injuries, ensuring return to work outcomes are achieved.

**Key Responsibilities Includes**:

- Manage the coordination, delivery and development of the Peer Support Program **( PSP)**:

- Lead the delivey of The Working Mind **(TWM)** training across the Division
- Laise with Wayfound to deliver Before Operational Stress Program to ACPS
- Research and roll-out additional mental health and wellness initatives to support ACPS staff in the workplace
- In collaboration with Disability Management, manage all aspects of case management of non-occupational and occupational illness and injuries for the Division.
- Coordinate the implementation of learning opportunities relating to topics that foster and promote healthy workplaces.
- Promote health and wellness within ACPS by planning and promoting wellness programs, creating wellness initiatives based on participant needs, and encouraging participation in these programs.
- Significant experience in managing supports for workplace trauma and mental health injuries
- Knowledge of mental health resources and supports available in the community
- Has a foundational knowledge of health and wellness concepts
- Demonstrated knowledge of disability management and return to work practices and processes
- Thorough working knowledge of all relevant legislation including Occupational Health and Safety Act, Human Rights Code and Employment Standards Act
- Excellent written and verbal communication

**Qualifications**:
A University Degree (4 year program) in Mental Health, Nursing or a related field, plus 4 years progressively responsible related experience; or equivalent as described below.

**Equivalency**:
Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
