**Our Clinic**:
Town Psychological Services is a psychology practice located in Oakville, Ontario. We are a thriving and continuously growing practice situated at the border of Oakville and Mississauga providing online and in-person services to Halton, Peel, and all regions across Ontario. We are a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Psychotherapists, Social Workers, Psychiatric Registered Nurses, and Administrative Staff. We offer individual and group therapy, comprehensive psychological assessments, as well as consultations. Our team provides therapy across a variety of modalities, such as, CBT, ACT, DBT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma.
We are committed to evidence-based services, professional development, and community partnership. We offer consultation team meetings and paid opportunities for professional development to attend clinical workshops and seminars_._ We also provide paid opportunities to deliver public talks, workshops, and seminars to community members within Halton and surrounding regions.
- A Doctoral level degree from a clinical psychology program accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA)
- Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
- Two or more years of experience for Ph.D. students
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional skills in assessment and intervention using evidence-based psychological treatments (e.g., DBT, CBT, EFT, and ACT).
- Special consideration will be given to those who have expertise working with child and adolescent populations, couples therapy, and can provide in-person services
